Liao works alongside your routine. They do two different jobs. Your medication manages acid. Liao supports the digestion underneath. It is not a replacement for prescribed medication.

What is Liao+
A concentrated herbal syrup based on a 1,800 year old Chinese medicine formula for reflux. One bottle is a 30 day supply, 60 servings, and comes with a measuring spoon, Dr. Lyda Kermani's TCM Digestion Guide, and free access to the OhMyGerd tracking app.
Who is it for+
People whose meals regularly come with burning, acid rising, a lump feeling in the throat, bloating or heaviness after eating. It works alongside your existing routine, including acid blockers: leave 30 to 60 minutes between Liao and medication.
How to use+
One 2ml spoon, twice a day, 30 minutes before meals. Stir into warm water like a tea. Mild herbal taste with a note of licorice. The syrup is intentionally thick. That is the concentration.
Ingredients+
Three herbs from one classical formula plus a prebiotic: Inula Flower, Hematite, Licorice Root, IMO prebiotic. Nothing else. No fillers, no alcohol, no preservatives.
Relief that never lasts is not relief.
You know the loop. It calms down. Then it comes back.
Antacids neutralize the acid. Barrier products float on top of it. Acid blockers switch it down. All three manage the moment, and none of them changes why acid keeps heading up in the first place. That is why the loop repeats.
Liao does a different job: it works on the direction of digestion itself.
Your symptoms are not four problems. They are one pattern.
Everything moving up that should be moving down.
Chinese medicine has a name for this pattern: rebellious stomach qi. Digestion that pushes upward instead of down. Most products chase each symptom separately. Chinese medicine works on the pattern that produces all of them.
Liao is built on Xuanfu Daizhe Tang, the classical formula created for exactly this pattern, refined over 1,800 years, concentrated 10:1 into two spoons a day.
The formula has been put to the test. Not by us.
72 reflux patients, 8 weeks. The formula went head to head with a prescription acid blocker. Lower symptom score wins.
Read the studyAdding the formula to acid blockers raised the odds of symptom resolution by roughly 50%.
The formula matched the prescription acid blocker lansoprazole: 90% vs 87% response.
People whose reflux persisted despite medication. Adding the formula improved symptoms more than medication alone.
Journal of Ethnopharmacology: the formula calmed inflammation in the esophageal lining.
Read the researchThese studies tested the traditional formula as a prescribed decoction, not Liao itself. Liao is a dietary supplement, not a medication. These statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
So we ran our own test.
Before launch, 30 people followed the full 90-day Liao protocol. 26 reported less reflux. An internal test, honestly labeled.
“After the second month I started to notice that it just went away for good, which I was really shocked.”Hector · filmed testimonial

“I was on strong prescriptions and that didn't help... I was able to come off my medications.” Claudine, verified review
Three herbs + one prebiotic. That's it.
Each ingredient has a job in the pattern. Together they are the formula. Each 120 ml bottle concentrates 2.6 pounds of raw herbs at a 10:1 ratio. The industry standard is 5:1.
I made Liao for my dad. Now I want to help anyone who, like him, stopped enjoying life because of heartburn.
